The charming and charismatic Alex Hart, is a young artist, a breath of fresh air who radiates presence with thoughtful songs, effortless phrasing and a percussive guitar style with subtle chord changes, bolstered by a stomp box for good measure. At Cranfest she will be appearing as a duo with top guitarist Adam Sweet, which will enhance her sound without overwhelming it. A talented vocalist, her voice has a genuine, original tone, and an accomplished musician too (hence her presence in both Seth Lakeman and Martin Barre’s bands), her live performances are garnering rave reviews right across the country. We are lucky to have the opportunity to see newer artists of this calibre at Cranfest and they deserve all our support in their endeavours.
